Today I said goodbye to my Tuesday after-school munchkins! I have been working with this adorable group of 1st and 2nd grade hoodlums since January, and I am sad to be leaving them. There was cake and ice cream, face-painting, a massive group hug, and some tears. These children- even though often on my last nerve- have all taught me so much. I especially enjoyed making practically shapeless paper maché animals and hilarious adventures playing in the woods.
